Terms and conditions of the Camera Service Roma 12 month like new guarantee

On products purchased directly from Camera Service Roma, we offer 12 months coverage against defects or malfunctions. Products indicated as new are so for their complete functioning, excluding the aesthetic aspect that does not affect the perfect functioning of the product.

With the 12-month guarantee (calculated from the date of purchase) Camera Service Roma undertakes to repair any defects in the products, except in the case of inappropriate use of the same by the customer who has the obligation to send a clear and exhaustive description of the malfunction encountered.

In the event that the repair is not possible, the product will be replaced with another of the same model, or with an alternative product, in the event that the first is not available. In the event of replacement, the new product will be covered by the remaining period of the original warranty. If there is no similar product available, the customer will be refunded the amount paid.

What is not included in the coverage?

Damage caused by accidents or inappropriate use is not covered by our warranty. Camera Service Roma will repair or replace the product provided that the user uses the item according to the instructions indicated above.

Return policies for used goods in case of change of heart

In case of return of the purchased goods, the buyer must make the return (or deliver it to a third party authorized by the seller) without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 days of the communication of the withdrawal. This deadline is considered respected if the consumer sends the goods back before the expiry of the 14-day period (in this case, the proof of delivery to the post office or courier within the established terms is valid).

The shipping costs for returns due to second thoughts are borne by the consumer who is obliged to bear the direct cost of returning the goods (i.e. shipping costs).

The seller in the name of Camera Service Roma, after receiving the returned goods, can ascertain the existence of any damage that determines a decrease in the relative value. In this case, the consumer is considered responsible for the decrease in the value of the goods to the extent that this is attributable to a manipulation of the same other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

It is important to specify that for this purpose, in fact, the consumer can only handle and inspect the goods with due diligence , in the same way in which he would be allowed to do so in a shop (for example, he should limit himself to trying on a garment, without being able to wear it). For the purposes of exercising the right of withdrawal , any opening of the package by the consumer is irrelevant. The occurrence of such a circumstance, in fact, does not preclude the exercise of this right, also considering that, otherwise, the consumer would not be able to check the product, verify its integrity, suitability for use and the absence of defects.
