This Li-Ion battery has a high capacity and can power all Canon camcorders that use BP-A batteries, including newer models such as EOS C500 MKII, C300 MKII, C200 MKII, C70, XF 605, or XF 706.

The HED-A60 features both a 5V/5W/1A external USB power output and a dual 14.4V D-TAP DC output, capable of supplying 115W/8A to any professional external devices.

The battery’s dual D-Tap DC output is located on top of the battery. With this external power feature, you can connect two additional products, such as an LED light, a wireless transmitter, or an external recorder, so they can receive power while the battery is attached to the camera.

The opposing orientation of the D-TAP ports offers greater flexibility in daily operation. The maximum power output from the two D-Taps is 95W.

The HED-A60 includes a built-in 4-LED power meter that, when a button is pressed, displays the remaining battery percentage at 100%, 75%, 50%, or 25%.

The 5V/1A USB output of the battery can be used to power external USB devices. This feature enables you to use the HED-A60 as a power station to charge your mobile phone, tablet, or other electronic devices that can be powered via USB 5V.

In addition, by utilizing the battery’s built-in data communication chip, the battery synchronizes with the camcorder to display the exact power percentage on the camera’s LCD screen.
